For Spring 2017, Vetements has team up with denim icon Levi’s to create a series of new jeans and jackets. Crafted in France from reworked cotton panels or seamed with zips, the jeans are finished with a traditional tan-brown leather logo patch at the back waist and feature cut-out raw hems for a signature deconstructed feel while the classic denim jacket has been oversized or cropped.

Founded by LA-based denim gurus Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur, Re/Done began in 2014 as a luxury jeans collection altering vintage Levi’s into new pairs so they know exactly how to design and cut cult styles . Since then the label has expanded to create its own cult denim line based on bestselling shapes from its vintage collections.

First, we took a classic vintage Levi’s denim jacket and sculpted it into the must wear jacket style of the moment, The Bomber. Then, with the anticipation of the dropping temperature, we added the repurposed vintage fur collar to keep your neck warm in the winter months. Despite its utilitarian beginnings in the 1950s, the MA-1 bomber jacket evolved into a street wear staple that has most recently been seen on the runways of Paris and in the collections of the most influential fashion brands. Our RE/DONE bomber, with its frayed sleeves and waistband, adds a feminine twist to this military shape. Each pieces is a one-of-a-kind polished top layer to any look. Available HERE
