Fresh out of design school, Ukraine native Marianna Senchina’s career took off in 2014 when she presented her first collection at Kiev fashion week. Turning out pieces that are uber feminine and playfully exaggerated, Senchina’s eponymous label masterfully toes the line between lighthearted and of-the-moment. Two great examples? Asymmetrical gingham Marianna Senchina dresses and appliquéd trench coats. This season it’s about: Exaggerated shapes, primary colors and a Lolita inspiration manifested as gingham cropped flares, painted bikers and quirky hand-embroidered pieces.
