Leandra Medine is quickly becoming the collaboration queen, having recently designed items with Veda and Outdoor Voices, she has done t-shirts and trench coats. She has also dabbled in footwear design with her Superga sneaker collaboration: now it’s Laurence Dacade. The Paris-based firm not only produces her own line but also heads up footwear design for Chanel—no small feat, of course. As Medine explained to Footwear News, “They asked me if I wanted to collaborate on a boot and I was like, ‘I don’t know, does a baby want candy?’ That’s me saying yes.” The result is a tweed-paneled lace-up boot, complete with tassel ties and a maroon backing. They’re 100% Man Repeller material, and naturally, that makes us want them all the more. The shoes are on sale now at assorted Bergdorf Goodman stores.
