Jem and the Holograms: watch the film trailer and shop the collection!

Short-lived girl-power toon Jem and the Holograms is the newest eighties animated series to get the feature-film treatment. According to IMDB the plot will revolve «a small-town girl catapulting from underground video sensation to global superstar, she and her three sisters begin a journey of discovering that some talents are too special to keep hidden» (the movie hits theaters on December 25). The original Hasbro classic cartoon chronicled the adventures of music company owner Jerrica Benton and her pink-haired singing alter ego Jem, front woman of the Holograms.
