For Pre-Fall 2018, Ganni creative director and her team have designed one for every situation – statement slip dresses in bold prints; breezy dresses with sexy-sweet rufes; a feminine drap-ing silk dress with pretty daisies; folksy peasant dresses; and wear-anywhere wrap dresses that work just as well with sneakers as heels. “I never liked that idea of wearing dresses just for special nights out or events,” says Ditte. “And when you fnd the right one, the world feels like a better place.”
T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts arrive stamped with trippy, psychedelic emblems. A particular focus for Pre-Fall is swimwear – driven by Ditte’s own search for a bikini. “We always design for ourselves first – and I am always on the hunt for an amazing bikini. ” The Pre-Fall collection gives the defnitive word on summer knitwear, from boyfriend cardigans to the collection’s standout knit – a hippie-ish jumper with stripes in Crayola shades of pink, green, blue and white. Two transparent raincoats (one in leopard print) provide an eccentric, cool cover-up on rainy summer days.
