The most unlikely style trend: socks with (flat) sandals anyone?

The ugly shoes trend is officially gone too far now by adding socks to the equation. Socks with sandals, really? Wasn’t that supposed to be a faux pas even if Alexa Chung, Chloë Sevigny and the Olsen’s have been insisting on that, liker, forever? See what you’ve done Miuccia Prada! It’s all on your spring-summer 2013 collection to blame. Ok, and on you SS14 one too. You may well be shaking your head grimly, but here’s the runway and street style body of evidence that permit us to suggest a rising trend in this flat direction (because actually with platform or heeled sandals, it’s not that bad).
