How to celebrate the Chinese New Year (of the Pig) in style

Gucci T-shirt with piglet available at GUCCI.com
* For Cruise 2019, inspired by the innocent aesthetics of vintage children’s books, the image of the piglet is repurposed in a playful patch paying homage to the Chinese calendar’s year of the pig. Decorating an oversize T-shirt, the detail is matched with a rainbow Gucci logo that is reminiscent of psychedelic prints from the ’70s.

Gucci Flying Pig brooch in pink resin available at GUCCI.com
* The flying pig—a playful interpretation of the creature—is an homage to the Chinese calendar’s year of the pig, appearing on different items throughout the Spring Summer 2019 collection. Imagined as a brooch in resin with mother of pearl effect, the whimsical design is backed with a metal pin closure.

Gucci Ophidia GG tote with three little pigs
* In honor of the Chinese calendar’s year of the pig, the characters from the “Three Little Pigs” are brought back from ©Disney archives and reinterpreted in playful patches enhancing the House designs for Cruise 2019.
