The 2015 Teen Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles at the Galen Center on Sunday (August 16) in Los Angeles. The show was hosted by Jane the Virgin‘s Gina Rodriguez, rapper Ludacris, and web star Josh Peck. Unlike some other award shows — which can lead stars to opt for pieces that, while on-trend or from a highly respected designer, can look stuffy or ill-suited for their personalities — the young ladies who were most successful at the TCAs chose funky, summery, and fearless ensembles, that were both elegant and age-appropriate.
