Gucci Spring 2019

Gucci Spring 2019.
Alessandro Michele took Gucci’s Spring-Summer ‘19 show to Paris at the storied Théâtre Le Palace, the nightclub famed for being the French capital’s Studio 54 equivalent. Looking to the ‘70s and early ‘80s heyday of the iconic nightclub, the bold, eccentric and even hints of fetishism were drawn upon to pay an homage to the golden era, as Jane Birkin gave a surprise performance midway through the show, singing “Baby Alone in Babylone” from her seat on the front row.

SHP NOW: Gucci Large tote with Yankees patch

SHOP NOW: Gucci Dionysus small shoulder bag with Yankees patch.
* In a collaboration that stemmed from the Creative Director’s love for his Yankees baseball hat, Gucci incorporated a mix of Major League Baseball teams into the Fall Winter 2018 Fashion Show collection. The New York Yankees™ patch is brought to the forefront, enriching the House signature silhouettes and accessories. Matched with embroidered flower patches, the team’s insignia is displayed on a Dionysus shoulder bag in GG Supreme canvas, defined by the emblematic tiger head buckle referencing the Greek god Dionysus.
