Designer Caroline Constas launched her label in 2013 just as the off-the-shoulder trend was heating up. Since then she has been slowly expanding her New York–based brand. Part Greek, part American and raised in Montreal, she sources all of her fabrics from Italy, but designs the patterns by hand. She’s also involved in every step of the process for her business, from the size of the buttonholes to buying strategies. Caroline makes the kind of clothes that reminds you of vacation, and that’s the best thing. Her office-appropiate straightforward signature—classic shirting with a femenine twist is one good reason she’s found success. And her flirty-off-the-shoulder dresses (concretely the Lena) are this season’s biggest success within style bloggers inner circle.
