* This multicoloured Rave Review Lola check wool coat features notch lapels, long sleeves, waist tie fastening, open front design, mid-length hem, fringed trims and side hip pockets. It takes courage when you’re little to finally leave your security blanket at home and strike out on your own. But when you love things and let them go, they eventually come back to you. Hence, this Rave Review coat. Relive the forgotten comfort with this grown-up version.

About Rare Review: Making its debut at Paris Fashion Week for Spring 2018, the aptly named Stockholm label Rave Review quickly garnered acclaim for its use of sustainable materials and championing of environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes. Designers Josephine Bergqvist and Livia Schück upcycle pre-existing garments that they find at vintage markets, off-the-grid second-hand stores and from private sellers online. The colourful checked wool and embroidered lace textiles have a personal, intimate quality, while the innovative shapes and angular forms belie the domestic charm of the fabrics. Expect nostalgic elements that are both considered and comforting such as crisp white shirts accented with doily lace and prints that reflect the designers’ diverse cultural interests.
