«She had been swimming, and now she was breathing deeply, stertorously, as if she could gulp into her lungs the components of that moment, the heat of the sun, the intenseness of her pleasure. It all seemed to flow into her chest. »

Simone Rocha Spring 2022. FROM VOGUE: Simone Rocha gathered us at the medieval church of St Bartholomew the Great in the City of London to attend a processional show spun from the rituals and reality of bringing a baby into into the world. New life, new beginnings, tenderness—it seemed like a touching metaphor for the reunion of people at physical shows in London for the first time since February 2020.

Nensi Dojaka Spring 2022. FROM VOGUE: Nensi Dojaka is one of the freshest forces in womenswear for a long time to emerge from London, or perhaps internationally. A group of experts judged her to be that the other day, when they awarded her the 2021 winner of the LVMH Prize from an impressive field of global contenders. She had her first solo show today—a collection which showed all the finesse she’s managed to evolve in dressing the female body in classily engineered nuances of reveal and conceal.

* REJINA PYO’s Pre-Fall ’21 collection uses eclectic prints and colors to explore different ideas of femininity. One of the highlights, this ‘Casey’ midi dress is made from tiered panels of recycled seersucker and woven with tonal-brown gingham checks. The organic cotton lining creates even more volume through the skirt.
* Rejina Pyo’s prioritises contemporary minimalist and quality fabrics to create its designs and the Casey dress is a prime example. It is crated from a blend of recycled wool and seersucker and cut to a tiered silhouette with a simple square-shaped neckline and spaghetti straps.
